There are booths at the festival selling food and drinks and Japanese merchandise.

Gals That Brunch Copenhagen is attending the Copenhagen Sakura Festival!

The Copenhagen Sakura Festival is well known for featuring many Japanese cultural performances. At the festival, you will experience both traditional and modern Japanese culture through the performances on stage, amidst the blossoming Sakura trees.

We will meet at 10:45 AM by the large water fountain statue (Gefionspringvandet) at the entrance of Langelinie Park (Google Maps dropped pin link: https://maps.app.goo.gl/HjpDBaS8svv7C42q8). We will head inside the park at 11:00 AM.

Please note that the festival can be quite crowded at times, so if there is a large group of us, we might end up splitting up into smaller groups of 4-5 people to make it easier to navigate the festival grounds. Please make sure to wear comfortable walking shoes and it is recommended you bring bottled water in case you get thirsty (drinks are also sold at the festival). The festival is outdoors so you might want to wear sunscreen and bring a rain jacket just in case. There is only one public toilet near the entrance of the festival grounds.
